Iona found a hoolet with a damaged wing. She wasn’t sure whether she should keep it indoors, after all, they were meant to fly. She nursed Brodie back to health and they became firm friends.
When Brodie finds a way out of the house, Iona searches for him. She meets her farmer and his imaginary dog as she follows a trail of feathers. Together they look for Brodie but he can’t be found.
After all, he was meant to fly.
