The Night Pixie To The Rescue by Hazel Knox illustrated by Chris White

Star, a night pixie, sneaks into Rose’s school for the first time.

From her hiding place she sees the playground, the other pupils and so much more. When she enters Rose’s classroom she spots a cage in the corner. To her surprise, a rabbit called Welly lives there. Determined to help Welly escape and show him what the outside world is like, they find themselves in a wood beside the school that has many surprises in store for them.
Star soon realises that Welly may not want to live in the wood after all and it’s a race against time to stop her new friend being on the lunch menu of some predators they bump into along the way. Back in the safety of the classroom, Star realises that being outside isn’t for everyone but when she meets someone she least expects in the woods, maybe it’s time for her to leave her home with her human friend Rose and embrace the pixie world again?
Hazel Knox’s second in the Night Pixie trilogy is a fun, heart-warming early reader story about being the best friend you can be even if you need to venture into the world to find out who you really are.

With fantastic illustrations by Chris White, the characters stay with you long after the last page has been read.
