Max the Brave is a delightful picture book from the talented hands of Ed Vere.
Max does look cute on that front cover don’t you think?

Please don’t dress him up in ribbons, or admire his cuteness. You see Max is a ‘fearless kitten’ a ‘brave kitten.’ He chases mice thank you very much!
Well, he urm would do if he knew what they looked like! *cough*
Each page showcases a wonderful vibrant hue, against which Max goes off on his search for the Mouse. I love this style of Ed’s – wonderfully appealing to young readers.
Great dialogue takes the reader with Max on his journey which involves a thoroughly entertaining case of mistaken identity.
Young listeners will love this picture book. Totally charming, and wonderfully absorbing.
