Nora Inkwell’s day is not starting as expected.
Having breakfast with her friend Ruby (the one she still can’t quite tell how she really feels) and her cringey seething-at-each-other parents doesn’t quite go to plan when their world is thrown upside down.

Nora and Ruby’s friendship is tested at every opportunity but it’s not long before they realise that their feelings are genuine and true but will they survive long enough to see where it takes them?
Arriving at the manor brings a whole new perspective to their predicament and Nora must distinguish between a potential truth and sneaky lies if she’s to survive long enough to tell Ruby how she feels, save her family AND hope that the world goes back to normal human activity!
