tomfletcher2bookclub“That’s right, it’s round two… BOOK CLUB – THE SEQUEL, BIGGER, BOLDER… BOOKIER (yes that’s a made up word!).”

My Book Corner is VERY excited to be able to share the news that Tom Fletcher has today launched his second WHSmith Book Club.

We’ve also been lucky enough to see the ten books, for 7-11 year olds, that have been selected.

They are as follows:

Iguana Boy written by James Bishop, illustrated by Rikin Parekh

I Swapped My Brother on the Internet written by Jo Simmons, illustrated by Nathan Reed

The Chocolate Factory Ghost written by David O’Connell, illustrated by Claire Powell

Dave Pigeon written by Swapna Haddow, illustrated by Sheena Dempsey

Travels of Ermine Trouble in New York written by Jennifer Gray, illustrated by Elisa Paganelli

The Unlikely Adventures of Mabel Jones written by Will Mabbit, illustrated by Ross Collins

The Nothing To See Here Hotel written by Steven Butler, illustrated by Steven Lenton

My Magical Life written by Zach King, illustrated by Beverly Arce

Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made by Stephen Pastis

The 39-Storey Treehouse written by Andy Griffiths, illustrated by Terry Denton.

A varied selection… interested to know what you think of the choices?!

Happy reading!

To encourage children to interact with the books in a fun and engaging way a writing competition has been launched in partnership with Teach Primary where entrants are invited to send in their stories based on any of Tom’s Book Club titles… and the winner will receive £2,000 worth of books for their school!
