D.M. Mullan’s Curious Tales is a series of peculiar modern fables from author D.M. Mullan and illustrator Kirsteen Harris-Jones. How cool does this sound?
So excited to be revealing Kirsteen’s cover.
With a classic rhyming style and wonderfully quirky illustrations, each book centres around a unique little individual and tells their story all whilst being part of a wider, interconnected, world.
Hector is the very first in the series: Hector van Groat is a genius inventor. He lives in an upside-down boat at the top of Mount High and he thinks he doesn’t need anyone else but himself — and his machines of course. He builds and builds, and it makes him smile, but something is missing. What could it be?
D.M. Mullan is a world-traveled children’s author and former teacher. Born in County Derry, she now lives in Belfast with her family. The ‘D.M. Mullan’s Curious Tales’ series is her first work for children.
