About: Sareen McLay
Sareen lives in Aberdeen and can usually be found trying to finish any other jobs as quickly as possible so she can get back to reading and writing.
She is the co-ordinator for the Aberdeen and Northeast Hub of the Society of Children’s Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
Her middle grade story, Whispers, was Highly Commended for the Kelpies Prize 2024. She has had poems and short stories published.
