About: Kate Wiseman

Kate has a BA in English and Creative Writing and a Masters in English Literature. She’s an avid reader who, as a child, frequently got told off for reading in the shower. Her debut novel, Gangster School, is being released by Piper Verlag, Germany, in October 2017. The second in the series, The Brotherhood of Brimstone, will follow in Spring 2018. She is currently writing the third, The School for Scumbags. Gangster School was shortlisted for three national prizes for children’s writing. She has just finished writing No Man’s Land, a YA novel about gender issues in the First World War.
