These pages are filled with the most glorious, vibrant illustrations from Emily Sutton which sing out in celebration of the diversity of life which can be discovered.
Davies’s narrative takes us further as she leads her readers to see that all these wonderful animals are part of a much larger plan, a much larger pattern and that we as humans must take care not to interrupt and disturb that pattern.
As Lots: The Diversity of Life on Earth reaches it end, it does so on a note that empowers readers… and encourages them to take care of the lots and lots of diversity that exists on earth. A wonderful teaching tool, and a totally absorbing read.
