Leisa Stewart-Sharpe grew up barefoot and sunburnt in rural Australia, but with wanderlust calling, moved to England in 2004. When not tweaking her picture books with the Golden Egg Academy, or reviewing books for My Book Corner, she’s helping companies tell their stories.
A trained journalist, Leisa spent much of her career working in busy press offices and advising CEOs on communications. Realising good words are in high demand, she set up communications and copywriting consultancy eLeSs Creative, focused on corporate storytelling. Leisa loves writing quirky picture books, many in rhyme, and almost all inspired by her Australian childhood.
Leisa is represented by Alice Sutherland-Hawes, of the Madeleine Milburn Agency.
