Josette Reeves grew up in sunny Bolton mostly reading Famous Five books and being disappointed at the lack of local secret passages and smugglers.
She’s been loitering around the North West ever since: after studying history at Lancaster University she moved to Liverpool for a few years, and now lives in West Lancashire with partner Nick and retired (and fabulous) greyhound, Peggy.
When not working at a university library, Josette is usually working as a freelance fact checker/proofreader, and when she’s not doing that she’s usually reading or writing. She writes picture books and middle grade, and is represented by Alice Williams Literary.
