Grown-ups Never Do That! is the latest from the pairing of author Davide Cali and illustrator Benjamin Chaud.
An entertaining book listing all the things that grown-ups ‘never’ do like making funny faces or losing their temper, observed all the while by a crack team of child investigators lurking on every page. It gently shows that adults are human too and not so perfect as we’d like to pretend, but that’s OK.
I loved the illustrations –especially the inside-cover twist on well-known works of art.
Grown-ups Never Do That! has plenty to look at and discover on repeated readings.
