Miki doesn’t want to stay with his mum and look for fish in the icy waters, it looks hard and Miki isn’t ready. He bounds off in to the snowy landscape, where before long he spots a dot in the distance. Woodcock’s atmospheric illustraDot in The Snowtions reflect the calmness of Averiss’s words. Woodcock’s colour palette is soft and enchanting adding a wonderful magical atmosphere to this picture book.
